Hi, I’m Melissa Mykytiuk when I became an empty nester, I decided to turn my passion for flowers into a profession and created Surroundings by MLM. I cater to a wide rang of needs, from intimate home soirees and holiday parties to grand weddings, bar mitzvahs and other events in large venues. With a keen eye for color, design and interior styling, I love collaborating with clients to turn their visions into reality.

As a native New Yorker, I am intimately familiar with the diverse venues and styles that define our vibrant city and surrounding areas. My extensive experience in styling events across the five boroughs, New Jersey, Connecticut and Westchester has provided me with valuable resources and insights to make any event truly special.

Holding a Master's degree in Social Work, I possess exceptional listening skills to understand and communicate your personal needs and wishes effectively. As a boutique business owner, I pride myself on being readily available to my clients before, during, and after their event. I am fully insured and have experience working in country clubs, night clubs, hotels, restaurants, event spaces, and private homes, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.
